KTM to launch affordable electric cycle with 90 km range The demand for electric vehicles in India is growing rapidly, and now international brands are also eyeing the budget segment. Reports suggest that KTM is preparing to launch its most affordable electric cycle in the Indian market soon. With a proposed price of just ₹10,000 to ₹12,000, the cycle is expected to target young riders and urban commuters.
Battery and Charging
According to information, the electric cycle will be equipped with a large lithium-ion battery that supports fast charging. The battery is claimed to reach 100% charge in just 30 minutes. Once fully charged, it can provide a range of about 90 kilometers, making it suitable for short city rides and daily commutes.
Speed and Motor
The electric bicycle may feature a 300-watt BLDC motor, which will allow a top speed of 25–30 km per hour. This speed range aligns with current Indian e-cycle norms and ensures safety along with efficiency. Riders will also get three riding modes for better control and customization.
